Description: Also known as Bishop's Cap, this perennial herb grows to a mature height of six to sixteen inches. The leaves are round or heart-shaped and lobed with wavy edges. The flowers look like small greenish-yellow spiders. This plant often forms colonies as the result of rhizomes.

Habitat: This plant grows in areas with sufficient moisture at elevations between 6000 to 11500 feet from the Sierra Nevada range to British Columbia.

Flowering Season: Flowers form from May to September.

Comments: This plant has recently been designated as Pectiantia breweri, however, most plant books still list it by the old name.
